Wood Lamp-post

The Wood Lamp-post is a crafted lighting item that can be held or placed to provide light. It can be obtained by purchasing its crafting recipe from the Carpenter’s Shop, and it is one of the most effective craftable lights in the game.

A Wood Lamp-post illuminates a radius of about 7 tiles, with the strongest light concentrated in the closest few tiles. It can be placed indoors or outdoors, and it also works in areas such as the Mines. Like other placeable lamps, it can be removed by striking it with a Hoe, Pickaxe, or Axe. Unlike braziers, which can be toggled on and off, the Wood Lamp-post stays lit at all times.
