Weathered Floor

Weathered Floor is a crafted flooring item used to make decorative paths and other outdoor layouts. Like other flooring, it can be placed as a tile, but it is not especially durable: it can be displaced by lightning or destroyed by weeds.

When placed on The Farm outdoors, any type of flooring gives a +0.1 speed boost to the player. This bonus does not apply everywhere in the game, so Weathered Floor is most useful when laid in areas where movement matters, such as around frequently traveled routes, crops, buildings, or animal pens. Flooring also helps manage the environment indirectly by preventing grass or trees from growing in heavily used spaces, which keeps paths clear and reduces obstacles.

The recipe for Weathered Floor is sold by the Dwarf. Once crafted, it can be used to create simple rustic walkways that match farm decorations well, especially in outdoor designs. Since it is a flooring item rather than a permanent structure, it is easy to place in large quantities for long paths or small accent areas.
