Weathered Floor

Place on the ground to create paths or to spruce up your floors.
Overview
Weathered Floor is a crafted flooring item used to make decorative paths and other outdoor layouts. Like other flooring, it can be placed as a tile, but it is not especially durable: it can be displaced by lightning or destroyed by weeds.
When placed on The Farm outdoors, any type of flooring gives a +0.1 speed boost to the player. This bonus does not apply everywhere in the game, so Weathered Floor is most useful when laid in areas where movement matters, such as around frequently traveled routes, crops, buildings, or animal pens. Flooring also helps manage the environment indirectly by preventing grass or trees from growing in heavily used spaces, which keeps paths clear and reduces obstacles.

A few practical notes:
- The speed bonus from flooring applies only when the tiles are placed outdoors on The Farm.
- Flooring can help keep paths open by stopping grass and trees from growing where players move often.
- Weathered Floor may be displaced by lightning, so exposed farm layouts can require occasional repairs after storms.
- It can also be destroyed by weeds, making upkeep important in untended areas.
- Its appearance changes by season, with one look in spring, summer, and fall, and another in winter.
Weathered Floor is best treated as a functional decoration: it improves movement, helps organize space, and gives the farm a more finished look without requiring any special placement rules beyond normal flooring behavior.
