Wheezeweed Seed

Wheezeweed Seed is a plantable seed associated with Wheezeweed, a defensive flora found on Atrox and Calidor. Defensive flora can be uprooted with the Terrain Tool, and some of them may drop a seed when dug up, allowing the plant to be replanted later.

Wheezeweed itself is a large, round yellow plant with holes that expose a red membrane. When a player approaches it, it emits a hissing sound and the membrane inflates through the holes. If the player gets too close, it rapidly swells and knocks them back a considerable distance. Because of that behavior, a Wheezeweed Seed is mainly useful for replanting the hazard rather than harvesting it for direct benefit.

• Replanting a defensive flora can be useful if the player wants to preserve a hazard for later interaction or farm its root contents.
• The plant’s knockback makes it dangerous to approach closely, so digging or handling it from a safe distance is the safer option.
