Gas Meter Valve

Overview

Meter Valves let an exact amount of gas pass through before shutting off. They are used to meter gas flow by limiting a line to a specific quantity, then closing once that amount has been delivered.

This makes them useful anywhere precise gas delivery matters, especially when a system needs only a fixed burst instead of continuous flow. By placing a Meter Valve in a gas line, you can control how much gas reaches downstream buildings or storage before the line is cut off again.

  • The valve passes gas until the set amount has moved through, then closes automatically.
  • It is meant for exact dosing rather than pressure control.
  • It can be used to regulate brief gas supplies without needing constant manual intervention.
