Atmo Suit Checkpoint
Overview
Atmo Suit Checkpoint is a building used to define a controlled entry/exit point that requires an associated dock to function. Each checkpoint has an arrow indicating its facing; the checkpoint only functions when a corresponding dock is constructed on the side opposite the direction the arrow points.
Place checkpoints so that their arrow clearly indicates the intended flow of travel; the matching dock must be attached on the rear side (the side the arrow does not point toward). The dock and checkpoint form a paired installation, so plan layouts with space behind the arrow for the dock structure and any required wiring or plumbing those tiles might need.
- The dock must be built on the side opposite the checkpoint’s arrow; building the dock elsewhere will not satisfy the checkpoint’s requirement.
- Ensure tile alignment and clearance behind the arrow before placing the checkpoint to avoid having to relocate either building.
- Because the checkpoint and its dock are paired by position and orientation, mirror or rotationally symmetric designs should place docks consistently relative to checkpoint arrows to maintain predictable paths.
