Jet Suit Checkpoint

Overview

The Jet Suit Checkpoint is a building used with jet suit travel infrastructure. Its placement is directional: each checkpoint must have a matching dock built on the side opposite the direction its arrow points. In practice, the checkpoint and dock form a paired setup, and the arrow on the checkpoint indicates which way the associated dock must be placed.

This directional rule is the key thing to remember when laying out jet suit access routes. If the dock is not built on the opposite side of the arrow, the checkpoint is not correctly set up. Because of that, the checkpoint is not a standalone structure; it is part of a matched arrangement that must be planned with orientation in mind before construction is finalized.

  • The checkpoint must be paired with a corresponding dock.
  • The dock has to be placed on the side opposite the arrow direction.
  • The orientation of the checkpoint determines where the matching dock belongs.
  • A correct layout is essential for the checkpoint and dock to function as intended.

When designing a jet suit path, it is usually best to decide the travel direction first, then place the checkpoint so its arrow faces that route and the dock can be built behind it on the opposite side. This avoids having to rebuild the arrangement later.
