Jet Suit Dock
Overview
Jet Suit Dock is a building used to service jet suits. It can refill a jet suit with air and with fuel, and it can empty the suit of accumulated waste. The dock is a dedicated station where jet suits are placed so they are ready for deployment and maintained between uses.
Place a jet suit into the dock to perform any of its servicing actions. When a suit is docked the building supplies breathable gas and propulsion fuel as needed and removes the suit’s waste contents so the suit’s internal storage does not fill up. The dock therefore serves both as a resupply point before a flight and as a maintenance point after or between missions.
Practical notes for use:
- The dock’s primary functions are threefold: replenish air, replenish fuel, and clear waste from a jet suit.
- A jet suit must be physically placed into the dock to be serviced; using the dock prepares suits for subsequent use and prevents waste accumulation from rendering a suit unusable.
- Use docks as part of your jet suit workflow to ensure suits are fully charged and free of waste before sending a duplicant into hazardous environments.
Jet Suit Dock is an integral part of the jet suit system: it bridges in-field operations (suit use) and base-side logistics (resupply and waste removal). Proper placement and use of docks ensure that jet suits remain operational and safe for repeated deployment.
