Radbolt Engine

Overview

The Radbolt Engine is a rocket propulsion option that trades payload capacity for range. Radbolt-fueled rockets can support only a limited number of modules, but they are capable of traveling exceptionally far, making them useful for long-distance expeditions and remote destinations.

Because of that design, the Radbolt Engine is best suited to missions where distance matters more than hauling capacity. It is less appropriate for heavily modularized rockets, since its limited module support restricts how much functionality and specialization can be attached to the craft. When planning a rocket around this engine, the main advantage is reach: it lets a rocket cross much greater distances than standard fuel options while keeping the overall setup relatively compact.
