Leather

Leather is a processed material used in Ratopia’s production chains and crafting economy. It can be made from Rabbit, but using Armadillo as the input is far more efficient, making Armadillo the preferred source when scaling production.

Because leather production is not especially profitable for export, it is easy to overproduce it if you expand the industry too aggressively. In practice, it is best treated as a support material for internal use rather than a major money-maker. Keep an eye on your stockpile and production rate so the industry does not consume labor and resources that could be put toward more lucrative goods.

• Leather made from Armadillo is significantly more efficient.
• Leather is not well suited for export, so excessive production should be avoided.
