Motor

Motor is an item used in several important facilities, but the total amount needed is limited. It is not something you need to mass-produce early, since making too many can easily waste materials and storage space.

A good approach is to set a production cap in the manufacturing chain so it does not keep accumulating indefinitely. Even if you want to keep a reserve, having around 50 motors on hand is usually enough for most situations.
