Incubator

Hatches eggs into baby chickens and ducks.
Overview
The Incubator is a tool used to hatch eggs. It comes with the

To use it, place an egg into the Incubator by left-clicking. Once an egg has been placed, it cannot be removed unless the coop is at capacity. If the coop is full, the egg will remain in the Incubator until there is room for another animal. This can be done by selling an animal or moving one to another coop. After the coop drops below capacity, entering the building causes the egg to hatch immediately.
The capacity limits that matter for Incubator hatching are 8 animals in a Big Coop and 12 animals in a Deluxe Coop. Because hatching is tied to available space, players can deliberately delay a hatch until they have room for the new animal. This makes the Incubator useful for managing barnyard growth without needing to watch the timer closely.
- The Incubator is built into the Big Coop and Deluxe Coop; it is not a separate standalone structure.
- Eggs are inserted manually.
- An egg cannot normally be taken back out once placed.
- If the coop is full, the egg waits until space is available.
- When space opens up, entering the coop causes the egg to hatch instantly.
- The Coopmaster Profession halves egg incubation times.
Fairy Dust does not work on Incubators.
The Incubator is especially valuable for players who want to expand their coop population efficiently, since it lets eggs hatch without occupying a separate machine or requiring extra upkeep. It also gives a convenient way to prepare a replacement animal in advance and release it only when the coop has room.
