A Dinosaur Egg is an animal product obtained from dinosaurs. A mature, fed dinosaur produces one every 7 days, and the egg can be placed in an

The first Dinosaur Egg is especially valuable because it can be used to both start a dinosaur population and complete the Museum donation. Donating one contributes to the Museum’s total collection, but hatching the first egg instead of donating it ensures that the player gets a dinosaur while still being able to finish the Museum later with another egg. After hatching the first dinosaur egg, 

- Dinosaur Egg is not used in any bundles.
- Dinosaur Egg is not used in any recipes.
- It can be tailored into the Dinosaur Hat.
- It can be used as a green dye.
- It can be processed into Dinosaur Mayonnaise.
- A mature dinosaur produces one every 7 days.
- The first egg found is often best saved for hatching rather than donating.
The Dinosaur Hat is the only named clothing item directly associated with the egg in the sources, and the outfit from the hat also includes the Red Striped Shirt and Dinosaur Pants.
