Overview

Dwarf Scroll II is an artifact that can be found by tilling soil in the Mines on floors 1–39, with a small chance of appearing, and it can also drop from Frost Bats, Dust Sprites, Blue Slimes, and Ghosts. It sells for 1g. Because it is one of the four Dwarf Scrolls, it is part of the set of museum donations associated with the Dwarf collection.

Donating Dwarf Scroll II contributes to the Museum’s total donation count. If all four Dwarf Scrolls are donated, the player receives the Dwarvish Translation Guide, which unlocks the ability to understand the Dwarf. This makes the scrolls especially valuable early on, even though the individual item itself has little monetary value.

Dwarf Scroll II also has a few practical uses outside the Museum. It can be used in the spool of the Sewing Machine to create the dyeable Gold Trimmed Shirt. In addition, it serves as a green dye item at the dye pots in Emily and Haley’s house at 2 Willow Lane. One Dwarf Scroll II may also be requested in a Fish Pond quest for Ghostfish, where it increases the pond’s capacity from 7 to 10.

A useful farming method is to revisit Floor 15 of the Mines via the elevator. That floor has tillable soil near the entrance, allowing the player to repeatedly clear and re-enter the area to search for Dwarf Scroll I and Dwarf Scroll II. Since the scroll can come from both tilling and monster drops, combining floor farming with combat in the early and mid-level Mines makes it easier to complete the set.
