Dwarf Scroll I

Dwarf Scroll I is an Artifact that can be found in the Mines or Skull Cavern on any floor by tilling soil, or as a drop from Bats, Bugs, Cave Flies, Duggies, Green Slimes, Grubs, Rock Crabs, and Stone Golems. It sells for 1g.

Donation of this item contributes toward the Museum’s total donation count. Donating all four Dwarf Scrolls rewards the player with the Dwarvish Translation Guide.

It also has a few uses outside the Museum. Dwarf Scroll I can be placed in the Sewing Machine spool to create the dyeable Gold Trimmed Shirt, and it can be used as a red dye in the dye pots at Emily and Haley’s house, 2 Willow Lane. In a Fish Pond quest, Ghostfish may request one Dwarf Scroll I to raise the pond’s capacity from 7 to 10.

A reliable way to farm it is to revisit Mines floors 15, 55, and 95, where there is tillable soil near the elevator entrance. Because these floors can be returned to quickly, they are convenient for repeated attempts at digging up the scroll.
