Dwarf Scroll III

Dwarf Scroll III is an Artifact that can be found as a drop from Blue, Purple, and Red Slimes, Copper Slimes, Iron Slimes, Tiger Slimes, Lava Bats, Lava Crabs, Squid Kids, Shadow Brutes, Shadow Shamans, Spiders, Metal Heads, and Blue Squids. Like the other Dwarf Scrolls, it is one of the museum donation items and contributes to the player’s total number of donations.

Donating all four Dwarf Scrolls rewards the Dwarvish Translation Guide, which lets the player understand Dwarvish. Dwarf Scroll III itself sells for 1g.

It also has a few practical uses beyond donating it to the museum:

• It can be requested in a Fish Pond quest for Lava Eel, where one Dwarf Scroll III increases the pond’s capacity from 3 to 5.
• It can be used in the Sewing Machine to create the dyeable Gold Trimmed Shirt.
• It can be used as a blue dye at the dye pots in Emily and Haley’s house.

Because it is tied to both monster drops and several utility uses, Dwarf Scroll III is worth keeping at least one copy of even after it has been donated. After the museum requirement is completed, extra copies are mainly useful for tailoring, dyeing, or the specific Fish Pond quest.
