Overview
Dwarf Scroll IV is an Artifact that can be found as a drop from most monsters or by tilling dirt in The Mines. It is one of the four Dwarf Scrolls, and like the others it can be donated to the Museum. Donating all four Dwarf Scrolls rewards the player with the 

Its drop sources are broad, but not universal: it can drop from any monster except Skeleton, Serpent, Wilderness Golem, Carbon Ghost, Iridium Bat, Iridium Crab, and Haunted Skull. It can also be dug up with the hoe from dirt in The Mines starting at floor 80. The scroll is inexpensive on its own, selling for 1g, so its main value comes from collection, museum progress, and crafting or tailoring uses rather than profit.
A practical way to hunt for it is to revisit Mine floor 95. That floor has tillable soil near the entrance, and because the elevator makes it easy to return, it can be repeatedly farmed for Dwarf Scrolls I and IV. This makes it one of the most convenient spots for players who want to complete the scroll set without relying only on random monster drops.
Dwarf Scroll IV also has a use in the 
- Placing it in the spool of the Sewing Machine creates the dyeable Gold Trimmed Shirt.
- It can be used as a yellow dye item at the dye pots in
Emily and
Haley’s house, 2 Willow Lane.
Because it is both a museum artifact and a useful tailoring item, Dwarf Scroll IV is worth keeping at least one copy of until the player has finished the Museum donation and any desired crafting or dyeing uses.
