Mini-Fridge

The Mini-Fridge is a piece of furniture that expands the player’s refrigerator storage for cooking. It provides 36 inventory slots and functions like a regular refrigerator: any cooking ingredients placed inside can be used for recipes as though they were in the player’s inventory. This makes it a convenient way to keep extra ingredients close at hand without carrying them around.

A Mini-Fridge can be obtained from the Carpenter’s Shop after upgrading the farmhouse, or sent by mail after completing the Gus' Famous Omelet Special Order. It is intended for use in the farmhouse and can be placed only inside the farmhouse itself, not in the cellar. If it is obtained before the farmhouse has been upgraded, it cannot be placed until the upgraded farmhouse is available. It can also be placed in the farmhouse on Ginger Island.

Because it works as a cooking container, the Mini-Fridge is most useful for ingredients that are frequently used but not always kept on the player’s person. Players can stock it with crops, fish, and other cooking items to make meal preparation faster and reduce inventory clutter. Since it mirrors the behavior of the main refrigerator, it is especially helpful once the number of available recipes begins to grow and cooking becomes a regular part of farm management.
