Ornamental Fan

The Ornamental Fan is an Artifact that can be found by digging up an Artifact Spot at the Beach, in Cindersap Forest, or in Pelican Town. It can also appear in Fishing Treasure Chests and Artifact Troves, and it may be gifted by a pet dog with maximum friendship. Like other artifacts, it can be donated to the Museum, where it counts toward the total number of donations required for the collection.

Its main practical use outside the Museum is in tailoring. Placing the Ornamental Fan in the spool of the Sewing Machine produces the Bridal Shirt. This gives the item a clear late-game cosmetic function even after it has already been donated or otherwise collected.

The Ornamental Fan is not used in any quests, so there is no need to save one for a request board objective or story progression. In most cases, once a player has donated it and, if desired, used it for tailoring, any additional copies are mainly valuable for collection completion or personal storage.
