Prehistoric Vertebra

The Prehistoric Vertebra is an Artifact that can be donated to the Museum. It can be obtained from an Artifact Spot at the Bus Stop, as a 30% drop from a Pepper Rex, from Bone Nodes on the Ginger Island Dig Site, or as a gift from a pet dog with maximum friendship.

Donating a Prehistoric Vertebra counts toward the Museum’s total donation count. Donating it together with the Prehistoric Rib rewards the player with the Sloth Skeleton M statue.

The item also has several uses outside the Museum. In the Bone Mill, it can be processed into Quality Fertilizer, Speed-Gro, Deluxe Speed-Gro, or Tree Fertilizer. It is not used in any bundles and is not used in any recipes.

In tailoring, the Prehistoric Vertebra can be used on the Sewing Machine with Cloth in the feed to create clothing, and it acts as a white dye when placed with a dyeable clothing item in the dye slot.

It also has some value for special orders: during “Fragments of the past,” Gunther may request 100 of any combination of bone items to be gathered within 7 days. Completing the quest rewards the player with a reward item and the Bone Mill recipe.
