Rustic Plank Floor

Rustic Plank Floor is a crafted flooring item used to create decorative paths. Like other floor types, it is placed as a tile on the ground and is mainly used to improve the appearance and organization of outdoor spaces. It can be displaced by lightning or destroyed by weeds, so it is not completely permanent if left exposed.

Its crafting recipe is sold at the Carpenter's Shop. Once obtained, it can be used to lay down pathing anywhere a floor tile can be placed, making it useful for shaping walkways around crops, buildings, and other farm structures. On The Farm, all flooring provides a +0.1 boost to Player Speed while the player is standing on it outdoors, so Rustic Plank Floor can also serve a small practical movement role in addition to its decorative use.

Flooring has another indirect benefit: it prevents Grass or Trees from growing in heavily used areas. This makes Rustic Plank Floor useful for keeping frequently traveled routes clear, since otherwise unwanted growth can slow movement or block the path entirely. In practice, it is often placed along main routes, around work areas, or in designed landscaping sections where both appearance and function matter.
