Montese SMG

A rapid-fire sub-machine gun of an unusual make, brought here by a paramilitary force.
Overview
The Montese SMG is a submachine gun that can be obtained as a rare drop from Grunts. It is a skill-gated firearm: simply finding or equipping the weapon is not enough to use it effectively, as the player character must meet its Accuracy requirement before firing.
To use the Montese SMG, the player must have one of the following buffs active: Bio-Metric Armwraps, Bio-Mimic Armwraps, or Bio-Fusion Armwraps. The recipe for the Armwraps is unlocked at Accuracy level 7, and Accuracy 7 is also required to fire the weapon. If the player tries to shoot without meeting that requirement, the game displays the message “You aren't confident enough to use this item” and no shot is fired.
- In multiplayer, another player can craft Bio-Metric Armwraps earlier, allowing the item to be equipped sooner.
- Even with the armwraps equipped, the Montese SMG still cannot be fired until Accuracy 7 is reached.
- Before version 0.8.2, the weapon was named the Submachine Gun.
- The design is based on the SITES Spectre M4.
