Alpha Bush Devil

Alpha Bush Devil is a hostile creature found in Pine Forests and Great Bite. It only appears after the player accepts the related task from the Bulletin Board, making it a special hunt rather than a regular overworld enemy.

It is aggressive by default and fights with powerful fire-based attacks. Its basic attack is a lunging bite, but it also uses a multishot fireball attack that can ignite the player if any projectile hits. Its final attack is a barrage of fireballs that can set the ground on fire where they land, making positioning important during the fight.

Because of its high health and damage, the fight is easier with strong combat food such as Dagwood Dog or Prime Roast. Spear variants are especially versatile for hunting it, and fighting at close range can sometimes cause it to favor the area-of-effect bombardment instead of repeated bite attacks. Water is very useful during the encounter, since it lets the player extinguish burning quickly.

When defeated, Alpha Bush Devil drops Raw Prime Meat and may also drop an Alpha Eye. Completing the Bulletin Board task also rewards a generous amount of Dinks. Defeating one contributes to the Alpha Hunter milestone.
