Boaricoot

The Boaricoot is a farm animal that must be housed in an Animal Den and fed Animal Food from an Animal Feeder. It is treated like other cared-for livestock in that it needs food, shelter, and attention to stay productive. If it is not fed, it does not die, but it becomes unhappy and stops producing.

A single Animal Den provides shelter for one Boaricoot, and Boaricoots do not benefit from other animal shelter types. To keep its hearts rising for better-quality products, it should be fed, petted, and kept in good condition each day. Petting the Boaricoot causes stars to appear over it, and the Guitar also satisfies this attention need. NPCs may sometimes wander into a fenced pen with a gate and pet the animal as well.

Once fully grown, the Boaricoot performs its unique daily digging behavior. It will dig in dirt to produce Worms or in grassy areas to produce Native Bread, but only once per day.
