Croco

Overview
Crocos are aggressive crocodile-like predators found in Billabong, Rivers, and Mangroves. They are one of the more dangerous animals in these wetlands, and they attack with a bite and a tail slash. Both attacks are telegraphed in advance, which gives the player a brief window to react or move away before the hit lands.
Crocos become aggressive by default, and their behavior is also affected by the Bush Devil Hood: wearing it makes Bush Devils, Crocos, and Glowing Crocos aggressive even on Peaceful Wish. This makes the hood risky to wear around hostile wildlife if the player is trying to avoid combat.
- Crocos are most often threatened by other strong predators, especially Bush Devils.
- Packs of Diggos may also challenge Crocos, although this does not always end well for the Diggos.
When defeated, Crocos drop

Crocos can also be deliberately summoned with a Croco Berley Box purchased from

For players planning to hunt Crocos safely, the main concern is their melee range and their two-hit pattern. Since both attacks are telegraphed, staying mobile and watching for the wind-up is the key to avoiding damage. Weapons with good reach are especially useful, and keeping distance is safer than trying to trade blows up close. Because they live in swampy and river-heavy regions, Crocos are usually encountered while traveling through water-rich biomes rather than in open land.
