Germ Sensor

Germ Sensor is a building with a liquid-pipe variant, Liquid Pipe Germ Sensor. Its liquid-pipe form is used in pipe automation setups, and its main practical note is that liquid moving through a pipe is not sterilized by chlorine gas in the surrounding environment. That means passing contaminated liquid through a Chlorine Gas room does not clean it by itself.

One useful recycling fact is that melting a Liquid Pipe Germ Sensor returns 75 kg of Refined Metal, which is effectively a 1:1 exchange with Plastic. If you need the metal more than the finished building, this makes the sensor a straightforward source of refined metal value.
