Crystal Shoes

Crystal Shoes are a footwear item obtained as a special item drop in the Skull Cavern and Quarry Mine. They can also be found as a possible reward from the chest on floor 110 of the Mines, but only if remixed mine rewards are enabled in the Advanced Options menu when starting a new game.

As footwear, Crystal Shoes are part of the equipment system and can be worn by the player like other shoes. Their main distinction in the game is their rarity and the limited set of places where they can be obtained. Because one of their acquisition methods is tied to remixed mine rewards, they are not guaranteed to appear in a standard playthrough and may require a new game setup that specifically enables that option.
