Sprinkler

The Sprinkler is a crafted item that automatically waters nearby crops every morning. When placed, it waters the four tiles directly above, below, left, and right of it, but only if those tiles have been tilled. It is unlocked at Farming level 2, making it one of the earliest tools for reducing daily crop maintenance.

Sprinklers cannot be placed on sand. They can water Slime Hutch troughs, but they cannot be used on Garden Pots or the pet’s water bowl. A Torch can be placed on top of a Sprinkler to provide a small amount of light, which makes it useful for combining irrigation with basic illumination in dark areas.

Sprinklers can also receive upgrades after being placed. Only one upgrade can be applied to a single Sprinkler at a time, and picking up the Sprinkler removes the upgrade without destroying it, so upgrades can be recovered and reused later. The upgrades listed for this item are Pressure Nozzle and Enricher, each available in a set of 4.
