Power Outlet Fitting

Power Outlet Fitting is a cockpit-only building that supplies power to structures located inside a rocket's control area by drawing on the rocket's onboard energy reserves. It provides a convenient, localized electrical source within the Command Capsule, allowing equipment placed in the cockpit to run from the rocket's batteries rather than from an external base power grid.

Power Outlet Fitting functions by accessing the rocket’s stored electrical energy—its batteries or other onboard power stores—and routing that supply to buildings installed in the cockpit area. Because its supply is taken directly from the rocket’s reserves, devices powered through an outlet operate independently of the colony’s ground-based electrical infrastructure while the outlet remains within the cockpit. This makes the outlet the standard method for keeping cockpit instrumentation and other cockpit-installed equipment energized using the rocket’s own power systems.
