Overview

Peat is a solid organic resource with several industrial and agricultural uses. It can be burned to generate electricity, making it a combustible fuel option in power production chains. It is also consumed in food processing recipes and in other manufacturing recipes that require a large mass of organic input.

Peat can additionally be used as fertilizer, at a rate of 10 kg per plant per cycle. In some production chains it serves as a substitute input, reducing the need for other materials in the recipe. At 229.9°C it undergoes a phase change.
