Molten Gold

Overview

Practical notes and interactions:
- The bonus applies only to the battle’s starting coin_only pool and does not retroactively add gold mid-battle unless other mechanics convert starting gold into spendable currency later.
Molten Gold combines with other modifiers to starting wealth; if another effect sets or modifies initial coins, the total starting amount equals the base starting coins plus
Molten Gold’s value.
- Because it affects the very start of each battle,
Molten Gold is most valuable for enabling expensive first-move purchases (e.g., early defensive pegs or immediate stat upgrades) and for decks or playstyles that depend on early economy spikes.
- Consider pairing
Molten Gold with items or relics that benefit from higher spending or that refund/convert spending into additional value to maximize its impact.
