Blacksmith's

The Key To The Town is a special item that allows the player to enter many buildings in Stardew Valley at any time of day. It can be purchased from Qi's Walnut Room for Qi Gems, and once obtained it appears in the Special Items & Powers tab of the Player's Menu.

Despite its description, the key does not work everywhere. It functions for homes and most shops in Pelican Town, as well as the Adventurer's Guild, Carpenter's Shop, Marnie's Ranch, and the Wizard's Tower. It does not work at homes outside of Town, such as Leah's Cottage and Elliott's Cabin, and it also cannot be used at the Movie Theater or the Oasis. The key is disabled during festival days.

• The item is useful for keeping a flexible schedule, especially when visiting shops or NPC homes outside normal business hours.
• It does not bypass every lock, so some locations still keep their usual restrictions.
