Mango Sapling

The Mango Sapling is a Fruit Tree sapling that grows into a Mango Tree after 28 days. Once mature, it produces one Mango each day during Summer, or year-round on Ginger Island. Like other Fruit Trees, it also bears fruit all year long if planted in the Greenhouse.

Mango Saplings can be obtained from several Island-related sources. The Island Trader sells one in exchange for 75 Mussels, and they can sometimes be found by breaking open a Golden Coconut. Professor Snail rewards one for completing the Snake collection in the Island Field Office, and Tiger Slimes have a 0.5% chance to drop one.

As with all Fruit Trees, the sapling must be planted on a clear tile with the surrounding 8 tiles unobstructed so it can mature properly. Because Mango Trees continue producing every day once established, they are especially valuable on Ginger Island and in the Greenhouse, where their fruit can be harvested continuously.
