Mango

Mango is a fruit produced by a Mango Tree once per day during its harvest season. On the Farm, Mango Trees bear fruit in Summer, while on Ginger Island and in the Greenhouse they produce year-round. Because it is a fruit tree crop, it is mainly obtained by harvesting the tree rather than by foraging or standard farming.

Mango has several uses tied to island progression and customization. The Island Trader exchanges one Volcano Photo for 5 Mangoes on Thursdays, making it a renewable trading option once the photo is available. In a Fish Pond quest for Lionfish, one Mango is required to increase the pond capacity from 5 to 10. It also has dyeing and tailoring uses: Mango can be combined with Cloth in the Sewing Machine to create a dyeable clothing item, and it counts as a yellow dye ingredient when used with dyeable clothing. It can also be placed in the yellow dye pot at Emily and Haley's house.
