Leo
Overview
Leo is a villager who begins life on Ginger Island. He was washed ashore after his parents were lost at sea, and he grows up treating the parrots of the island as his family. At first, he is too shy to speak with the player; he only becomes willing to interact after the player has befriended the island parrots by collecting 10 Golden Walnuts.
Once Leo reaches 6 hearts, he moves to the mainland of Stardew Valley. There, he lives in a treehouse in the Mountain area, just west of 



Before moving, Leo remains on Ginger Island and follows a simple island routine. After he relocates, his schedule changes by day and season, including visits to the museum/library with the children, time near the mountain lake, and trips around town on Saturdays. He also continues to visit Ginger Island on Sundays and on some Mondays, so he can still be found there even after his move.
Leo’s heart events focus on his loneliness, his relationship with the parrots, and his struggle to feel like he belongs. At 2 hearts, he opens up about not being a bird and about feeling isolated. At 4 hearts, he wonders whether he could ever be a normal kid and teaches the player how to say “let’s play” in parrot-talk. At 6 hearts, Linus invites him to move to the mainland, and that night the parrots build him a treehouse in the tree west of Linus’s tent. At 9 hearts, he is shown settling into Valley life by cooking, attending school with the other children, fishing with

Leo loves the movie Natural Wonders: Exploring Our Vibrant World, likes several other films, and likes all concessions. He has no movie concession dislikes.
A few notable details about Leo’s dialogue and behavior:
- On the mainland, he can still sometimes remark that it is nice to see the player again on the island, especially when rain makes his schedule line up with Ginger Island.
- If the player misses his 4-heart event, they can still view it later by talking to him on the mainland.
