Jas

Overview
Jas is a villager who lives just outside Pelican Town. She is a young girl and is often seen with her best friend

Jas’s routine is shaped by the season, weather, and festivals. On most days she stays in her bedroom until late morning, then leaves home to stand under the large tree west of Marnie’s Ranch and jump rope, later returning to read in the shop entryway before going to bed. On rainy days she remains closer to home, and in summer she goes out to the beach in the afternoon. She also has several special schedules, including the Desert Festival, the Night Market, her clinic visit on Winter 18, and the days when she goes to the museum. After the Beach Resort on Ginger Island is unlocked, she may randomly spend the day there, but she never visits on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, festival days, or her checkup day, and she only goes if an adult accompanies her.
Jas’s gifts reflect her young age and simple tastes. She loves a few special items, including

- Jas’s universal loves include Ancient Doll, Fairy Box, Fairy Rose, Pink Cake, Plum Pudding, and Strange Doll.
- She likes Coconut and Daffodil, along with most other universal likes with the noted exceptions.
- She dislikes most produce and many forage items, so gifts should be chosen carefully.
- She hates alcohol, coffee, Clay, Wild Horseradish, Piña Colada, and most artisan goods.
- If given
Ice Cream at the Desert Festival, her friendship increases by 200 points, once per player.
Jas also has movie preferences. She loves Journey of the Prairie King: The Motion Picture, Natural Wonders: Exploring Our Vibrant World, The Brave Little Sapling, and Wumbus, while she likes The Miracle At Coldstar Ranch and The Zuzu City Express. She dislikes It Howls In The Rain and Mysterium. For concessions, she loves Sour Slimes and Stardrop Sorbet, likes several sweets and snacks, and dislikes everything else.
Her dialogue changes for major events, including the Egg Festival, Flower Dance, Luau, Dance of the Moonlight Jellies, Stardew Valley Fair, Spirit’s Eve, Festival of Ice, Night Market, and Feast of the Winter Star, as well as special lines for friendship levels, marriage, Ginger Island, jump roping, and Green Rain.
