Morel

Morel is a mushroom forage item that appears in Spring. It can be collected in the Secret Woods or on the Forest Farm, found in the Farm Cave if the mushroom option was chosen, or produced by a Mushroom Log. One Morel can also be bought from George’s shop at the Desert Festival for Calico Eggs.

In practical use, Morel is mainly valued as a forageable mushroom rather than a high-tier profit crop. Because it can be obtained from multiple sources, it is one of the easier mushroom items to keep on hand once the Secret Woods are unlocked or a Mushroom Log is set up. The Desert Festival purchase provides a reliable single copy if needed for collection goals or crafting-related uses.

Morel also has a tailoring and dyeing function. Placing it in the Sewing Machine spool creates the Morel Shirt. It can also be used in dye pots as an orange dye ingredient at Emily and Haley’s house, 2 Willow Lane.
