Robin

Robin is a villager who lives at 24 Mountain Road on The Mountain with her husband Demetrius, her daughter Maru, and her son Sebastian. She is the town carpenter and runs the Carpenter's Shop from her home, where she sells building upgrades and other construction-related services. Her shop is normally open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM every day except Tuesday, and it closes early on Friday.

Her daily routine changes depending on the day, weather, and game progression. On Tuesdays she leaves for exercise class at Caroline's house, which makes the shop unavailable for much of the day. If you need to use the counter on Tuesday, it is possible to do so briefly while she is walking out in the morning or when she is returning home in the evening. On rainy days, Robin usually stays home instead of leaving the mountain, unless she has been hired to construct a farm building. While a building is under construction, her shop is closed for the days she spends on the Farm. Once the Beach Resort on Ginger Island is unlocked, she may also spend some Tuesdays there, though she does not visit the resort on festival days.

Robin’s schedule also changes for certain special events. She attends the Desert Festival, may appear at the Night Market, and has unique routines on days such as Summer 18 and Winter 16. If the Community Center has been restored, she also visits it on Monday evenings. Her standard routine is to work at the shop during the day, then head back to the mountain area and go to bed at night.

Robin is married to Demetrius. Maru is their daughter, while Sebastian is Robin’s son from an earlier relationship. She also joins exercise classes with Jodi, Caroline, Emily, and Marnie every Tuesday.

As a gift recipient, Robin is especially fond of items that support her love of cooking and comfort foods. She loves Stardrop Tea, Woody's Secret, Goat Cheese, Peach, and Spaghetti. She likes Hardwood, Quartz, Woodcutter's Weekly, all universal likes, all fruit except Peach, and all milk. Neutral gifts include most universal neutrals, all eggs except Void Egg, and a range of foraged items such as Daffodil, Dandelion, Leek, Morel, and Winter Root. She dislikes Wild Horseradish and hates Holly, along with the other universal dislikes and universal hates. During the construction of most farm buildings she cannot receive gifts, though she remains available during Farmhouse, Coop, and Barn upgrades, but not during Shed upgrades.

Robin also has movie and concession preferences. She loves Journey Of The Prairie King: The Motion Picture and enjoys several other films, including It Howls In The Rain, Mysterium, Natural Wonders: Exploring Our Vibrant World, The Brave Little Sapling, The Miracle At Coldstar Ranch, The Zuzu City Express, and Wumbus. For concessions, she loves Salted Peanuts and Stardrop Sorbet, dislikes Black Licorice, Cotton Candy, Jawbreaker, Joja Cola, JojaCorn, Rock Candy, and Sour Slimes, and likes everything else.

At any friendship level above zero, Robin may send a gift in the mail, with the chance increasing as friendship grows. At 7 hearts, she sends the recipe for Pumpkin Soup. She is also tied to several quests, including Robin's Lost Axe, Robin's Request, Robin's Project, and Robin's Resource Rush. One of her special orders rewards the Deluxe Red Double Bed for sale at the Carpenter's Shop, while another awards the Stone Chest recipe.
