Jodi is a villager who lives in Pelican Town at 1 Willow Lane with her husband Kent and their two sons, Sam and Vincent. Kent is away serving in the military until the beginning of Spring 2, so Jodi’s home life and dialogue reflect her role as the family’s caretaker during that period. She is also close friends with Caroline, and the two attend exercise classes with several other Pelican Town women.
Jodi’s daily routine changes depending on the season, weather, and whether key community events have been restored. On many normal days she stays around her house in the morning, then goes into town or to Pierre’s General Store in the afternoon. After the Community Center is restored, her schedule shifts on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, and she may spend time at the Community Center instead of JojaMart or Pierre’s. She also has special routines for rainy days, clinic checkups, the Desert Festival, and certain Green Rain or Ginger Island conditions. Once the Beach Resort on Ginger Island is unlocked, she may occasionally spend the day there, though she never visits on festival days or on clinic checkup days for herself or Vincent.
At higher friendship levels, Jodi may also mail the player a gift after the player has at least some friendship with her, and the chance increases as friendship grows. At 2 hearts, the player can enter her room and find a letter from Kent in the drawer beside her bed. At 4 hearts, she can invite the player to dinner and ask them to bring a Largemouth Bass for Fish Casserole. Her Spring 19 request, Jodi’s Request, asks for a Cauliflower, and she may also post a random Help Wanted request outside Pierre’s General Store.
On Tuesdays, she typically visits Pierre’s General Store and spends time there with Caroline, Marnie, Emily, and Robin.
On Sundays, she goes to Pierre’s and enters the chapel in the back.
If JojaMart is still open, she may spend Wednesdays and Fridays there instead of at the Community Center area.
During the Desert Festival, she can appear as a vendor.
If the player marries Sam, Jodi’s dialogue changes to reflect the new family connection.
