Snow Yam

Snow Yam is an item that has a few practical uses rather than a large number of direct gameplay roles. Its most notable use is in tailoring: placing it in the spool of the Sewing Machine creates a light blue shirt with a horizontal white stripe across the middle. Because of that, keeping at least one Snow Yam on hand is useful if you are trying to unlock or reproduce that clothing appearance.

It can also appear as a Winter help wanted request. During Winter, the Help Wanted board outside Pierre’s General Store may randomly ask for a Snow Yam, and completing that request awards gold and 150 Friendship points. This makes it a useful item to store if you want to respond quickly to board quests without having to search for one at the last minute.
