JojaMart

JojaMart is the corporate store in Pelican Town run by Joja Corporation. It sells a rotating selection of seeds and other goods, along with a small permanent stock that includes Joja Cola, the Joja Furniture Catalogue, Joja Wallpaper, J. Cola Light, Grass Starter, Sugar, Wheat Flour, Rice, and, if the Joja route is taken, the Auto-Petter. It also offers random Wallpaper and Flooring each day.

Its seasonal stock covers many of the same basic farm supplies and crop seeds sold elsewhere. In spring, it carries Parsnip Seeds, Bean Starter, Cauliflower Seeds, Potato Seeds, Tulip Bulb, Kale Seeds, and Jazz Seeds. In summer, it stocks Tomato Seeds, Pepper Seeds, Wheat Seeds, Radish Seeds, Melon Seeds, Hops Starter, Poppy Seeds, Spangle Seeds, and Sunflower Seeds. In fall, it sells Corn Seeds, Eggplant Seeds, Pumpkin Seeds, Amaranth Seeds, Grape Starter, Yam Seeds, Bok Choy Seeds, Cranberry Seeds, Sunflower Seeds, Fairy Seeds, and Wheat Seeds.

JojaMart’s prices are generally higher than Pierre’s General Store for seeds, Grass Starter, Sugar, Wheat Flour, and Rice, with one notable exception: Sunflower Seeds are cheaper at JojaMart than at Pierre’s. After the player buys a Joja membership, those prices become the same as Pierre’s, except for Sunflower Seeds, which still sell for a different price at JojaMart. The prices of Joja Cola, J. Cola Light, Wallpaper, and Flooring do not change after purchasing a membership.

A Joja membership also changes how the player can progress through the town’s development projects. Instead of restoring community upgrades through the Community Center bundles, the player can pay Joja to complete projects such as Minecarts, Panning, Bridge, Greenhouse, and Bus. These repairs restore the minecart system, remove the glimmering boulder near the mine entrance, repair the mountain bridge and unlock the Quarry, restore the old farm ruins into a greenhouse, and repair the bus to the Calico Desert.

Because of this, JojaMart is most relevant to players following the Joja route, but even without membership it remains a useful source for certain goods, especially if the player wants to compare prices or buy items that are always in stock. Its stock also makes it the only place to purchase the Joja Furniture Catalogue and Joja Wallpaper directly.

JojaMart is associated with Joja Cola, which is also used as a quest item, a tailoring dye item, and a gift. During Help Wanted requests, Joja Cola may be asked for at any season, rewarding gold and friendship points.
