Eggplant Seeds

Eggplant Seeds are a type of seed. When planted, they grow into Eggplants at maturity.

They can be purchased at Pierre's General Store, JojaMart, the Magic Shop Boat at the Night Market on Winter 17, and occasionally from the Traveling Cart. They can also be obtained through the Seed Maker, and there is a chance for them to appear when using Mixed Seeds. In addition, five to twenty Eggplant Seeds can be found in treasure rooms in Skull Cavern, and eight to twenty can be obtained from opening a Mystery Box or Golden Mystery Box.

Because they are a seed item rather than a crop, their main use is to start Eggplant plants on a tilled farm tile. Their availability from several different sources makes them easy to stock up on when Eggplants are needed for farming, cooking, or bundle progress.
