Artichoke Seeds

Artichoke Seeds are a type of seed that can be planted to grow Artichokes. Like other crop seeds, they are the starting point for a crop cycle rather than a harvested item themselves, and they become more useful once year 2 content is available.

They can be purchased from Pierre's General Store starting in year 2, from the Magic Shop Boat at the Night Market on Winter 17 starting in year 2, and occasionally from the Traveling Cart. They can also be produced with the Seed Maker. In addition, planting Mixed Seeds can sometimes result in Artichoke Seeds, and they may also appear in treasure rooms in the Skull Cavern. Opening a Mystery Box or Golden Mystery Box can yield a stack of Artichoke Seeds as well.

• Five to twenty Artichoke Seeds may appear in Skull Cavern treasure rooms.
• Eight to twenty Artichoke Seeds may be obtained from a Mystery Box or Golden Mystery Box.
• Although they are a second-year seed, Mixed Seeds can still turn into Artichoke Seeds when planted in the first year.
