Artichoke

Artichoke is a crop that can be grown in the fall. It takes 8 days total to mature, progressing through five growth stages before it can be harvested. Its growth pattern is 2 days, 2 days, 1 day, 2 days, and 1 day across the five stages.

Artichoke has a few practical uses beyond selling or eating it directly. It is used in tailoring, where placing Artichoke in the sewing machine spool together with Cloth creates a dyeable clothing item. When used with a dyeable clothing item in the feed, it produces a green dye. It can also be placed in the green dye pot at Emily's and Haley's house for dyeing purposes.

Artichoke may also appear in the Help Wanted quest board outside Pierre's General Store during Fall in Year 2 or later. Completing that request rewards gold and 150 Friendship points.
