Kale

Kale is a vegetable crop that grows from Kale Seeds after 6 days. It is harvested using a Scythe or better, and its growth cycle takes six days total: 1 day for the first stage, 2 days each for the second and third stages, and 1 day for the final stage before harvest.

Like other crops, Kale can be sold after harvest or saved for crafting and dyeing purposes. It also has a few utility uses beyond its basic crop value:

• Kale may be selected as one of the options for a Community Center bundle.
• It is used in the Sewing Machine spool with Cloth in the feed to create a dyeable item.
• When used with a dyeable clothing item in the Sewing Machine, it produces green dye.
• It can also be placed in the green dye pot at Emily's and Haley's house for dyeing.
• In Spring of year 2 or later, it may be randomly requested on the Help Wanted board outside Stone's General Store, rewarding gold and 150 Friendship points when completed.

Because Kale is a fast-growing spring crop, it is useful for early-season farming and for players who want a simple source of green dye materials. Its short growth time makes it easy to fit into a profitable planting schedule, especially when maximizing the use of available spring farmland before moving on to longer-term crops.
