Overview
Grape is a fruit that exists in two forms in Stardew Valley: a forageable summer item and a standard fall crop. In Summer, Grapes grow wild throughout the valley and can also be obtained from 

Foraged Grapes can appear in the Backwoods, Mountain, Bus Stop, Railroad, and on the Forest Farm map, and they may also be found in Garbage Cans during Summer. Crop-grown Grapes are produced from Grape Starter after 10 days, then regrow every 3 days. Grapevines cannot be walked through at any stage while alive, but dead grape plants can be walked through.
- Growth stages: 1, 1, 2, 3, 3 days
- Total time to first harvest: 10 days
- Regrowth time: 3 days
Grapes sold as a fall crop receive the normal +10% Tiller profession bonus, while foraged Summer Grapes do not. If Summer and Fall Grapes are combined into one stack, the entire stack receives the Tiller bonus. Aside from that difference, the two forms are identical and can be used interchangeably for crafting, gifts, bundles, recipes, and quests.
Grapes are also used in tailoring and dyeing. They can be placed in the spool of the 


They may also be requested randomly in Summer on the Help Wanted board outside 
Because Grapes are both forage and crop, they are especially useful early in the game when a player finds them in the wild, and later when planted as a reliable fall regrowth crop. Their dual nature also makes them convenient for quests and bundles, since a foraged grape can often stand in for a grown one without any special handling.
