Potato

The Potato is a vegetable crop that grows from Potato Seeds after 6 days. It is a spring crop and follows a five-stage growth cycle before harvest.

When harvested, each Potato plant always produces 1 Potato, with a random chance to produce extra Potatoes. This bonus yield is affected in part by Daily Luck, making Potatoes one of the crops that can occasionally reward more than a single item from one plant.

Potatoes are used in the Community Center bundles, and five gold-quality Potatoes may be an option for one of those bundles. They also have several other uses beyond selling or shipping. A Potato can be placed in the Sewing Machine spool to create the dyeable Shirt and Belt, and it can be used as an orange dye in the dye pots at Emily's and Haley's house, 2 Willow Lane.

Potatoes are also relevant to quest and request content. Twelve Potatoes must be processed in a keg for the special order "The Strong Stuff," and Potatoes may be requested in Spring on the Help Wanted board outside Stone's General Store for a reward and Friendship points.
