Broccoli

Broccoli is a vegetable crop that grows from Broccoli Seeds and takes 8 days to mature. Once harvested, it continues to regrow every 4 days, making it a repeatable source of produce after the initial wait.

Its growth cycle is split into four 2-day stages before the first harvest, for a total of 8 days to reach maturity. After that, each additional broccoli harvest comes from the same planted crop after 4 more days of regrowth, so it is more efficient than one-time crops if the season is long enough to support multiple pickings.

Broccoli also has a few practical uses outside of selling or cooking:

• It can be used in the Sewing Machine with Cloth to create the dyeable Button Down Shirt.
• It can be used as a green dye in the Sewing Machine when combined with a dyeable clothing item.
• It can be placed in the green dye pot in Emily's and Haley's house at 2 Willow Lane.

Because broccoli is a regrowing crop, it is best planted when there is enough time left in the season to recover the initial 8-day growing period and still allow several harvests afterward. This makes it especially appealing in spaces where long-term crop maintenance is convenient, since the plant keeps producing without needing to be replanted.
