Pumpkin Seeds

Pumpkin Seeds are a type of seed. When planted, they grow into Pumpkins when mature.

They can be purchased from Stone's General Store, JojaMart, the Magic Shop Boat at the Night Market on Winter 17, and sometimes the Traveling Cart. After donating 35 items to the Museum, Gunther gives 9 seeds. Pumpkin Seeds can also be produced with the Seed Maker, may occasionally be created when processing Mixed Seeds, and can be found in treasure rooms in the Skull Cavern. Opening a Mystery Box or Golden Mystery Box can also yield them, usually in stacks of 8 to 20.

• Pumpkin Seeds are part of the normal crop cycle for Pumpkins and are used to start new plantings rather than as a crafted item.
• Because they are sold in multiple places and can also be found through several random sources, they are relatively easy to stockpile once the Museum reward is obtained.
• The Seed Maker and Mixed Seeds give additional ways to acquire them without spending gold, while Skull Cavern treasure rooms and mystery boxes provide extra bulk.
