Chanterelle

Chanterelle is an item used in tailoring and dyeing. When placed in the spool of the Sewing Machine with Cloth in the feed, it is used to create a clothing item. It also serves as an orange dye ingredient when used with a dyeable clothing item in the Sewing Machine.

In addition to Sewing Machine use, Chanterelle can be placed in the orange dye pot at Emily and Haley's house to contribute to dyeing. This makes it useful for players who are collecting color-specific materials for clothing customization rather than saving every copy for sale or gifting.

Because it provides orange dye, Chanterelle is one of the easier ways to target warm-colored dye recipes when a specific orange result is needed. Players focused on fashion or completion will generally want to keep at least one on hand so they can immediately dye clothes without waiting to find another dye item.
