Crispy Bass

Crispy Bass is a cooked dish that can be prepared in the kitchen of an upgraded farmhouse or with a Cookout Kit. It is an edible item with a sell price of 150g and provides a food buff duration of 7 minutes when consumed. Its icon and item data place it among the standard late-game cooking products rather than a special quest item or fish catch.

Outside of cooking, Crispy Bass has a few other uses and acquisition methods. It can appear randomly in Krobus' shop on Saturdays, in the Garbage Can outside the Saloon, or in the Stardrop Saloon's rotating stock. Jodi also sells a set of three Crispy Bass at the Desert Festival for Calico Eggs, and one may be obtained from opening a Mystery Box.

Crispy Bass is also useful for customization and dyeing:

• It can be placed in the Sewing Machine spool to create a Shirt.
• It can be used as an orange dye at the dye pots in Emily and Haley's house, 2 Willow Lane.

As a cooked dish, Crispy Bass is more notable for its utility than for its raw combat value, since its main appeal is that it is both edible and flexible in crafting and dyeing systems.
